About PerfectXL
At PerfectXL, we are passionate about spreadsheets. Our goal with our PerfectXL software is to drastically improve the quality of spreadsheets worldwide. Reducing errors in spreadsheets could save the world billions of euros! Around 750 million people globally use Excel.
At PerfectXL, we work in a hybrid manner, with our team of eight based in Amsterdam two days a week. Each team member has their own speciality. But there is one thing that unites us: we love creating beautiful software solutions for all those people who work with spreadsheets. That’s why we have developed various Excel tools and solutions.
We have been doing this for over a decade for well-known brands such as Nationale Nederlanden, Deloitte, PGGM, BDO, and Jumbo. They use our tools to structurally improve the quality of their business spreadsheets. Now, we are also attracting large international clients.
Our office is recently located in the Beurs van Berlage, a five-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Even after a decade, we can still be found at TU Delft, as they are one of our key partners in developing the best products.
Your Role
As a full stack developer, you will work on the further development of our (patented) tools that make using Excel better, easier and faster. Your work consists of implementing new features, thorough testing using unit tests, product improvements and sometimes customer installations. You will become part of our developer team where we work with scrum. So we are actively involved in each other’s work and work together a lot.
We are looking for someone who can work decisively, versatile and result-oriented. The work alternates between back-end (currently most) and front-end. We use the following technologies, among others: C#, .NET Core, NUnit, Vue.js, Electron, SQL and occasionally, of course, Excel’s VBA.
