The PerfectXL Highlighter operates within Excel as an add-in. Use the highlighter to add temporary colors to cells based on the cells attributes. These attributes then help you see the structure of your data, the flow of information, and it helps you spot things like inconsistent formulas or unused data. You also have the ability to search for specific functions or numbers. The tool can serve as a great starting point to guide you in your own formatting as well.

The add-in is compatible with Excel Online, Excel for Mac, and Excel for Windows. The Highlighter makes use of the newest possibilities and is therefore only compatible with the latest Office editions and does not support older versions of Excel.
System Requirements
Internet connection
Modern Office Add-ins are hosted utilities. Although an internet connection is required to open an add-in, once it’s open it can operate without internet. For the PerfectXL Highlighter add-in, no spreadsheet data is sent to the server.
